Aside from being Luke's servant and babysitter; Guy is also Luke's best friend and close companion. He's been with Luke since the very "beginning" and always sticks by him no matter how arrogant or stupid the red-head may get. When everyone else loses all respect for Luke; leaving him behind, Guy ends up coming back to him. Can we all say, "awww!"
why "devotion"?
When I think of Guy and Luke, one word comes to mind; devotion. Especially when it comes to Guy, who is very much devoted to Luke. There's really not much else to it...it was also something that was neutral when it came to the relationship between Guy and Luke; leaning towards romantic or platonic...whichever the fan wanted to see it as. :D
